listlessness

humidsweaty summer sweetness, here you are.
sometimes i want to do everything, so much so that i do...
NOTHING.
And it's wonderful!

Late-night television is awesome...most notably infomercials.

you can find slutty halloween costumes displayed in the thrift store.

Worn-out wiener pet on the deck.

Another tired wiener, resting by the grill.

DRAWIN'

i was working on this.

the aftermath.

also of note:
strange, horrible dreams involving sea creatures (an octopus, angelfish, siamese fighting fish, eel) swimming in the toilet of an abandoned house that creepy people are lurking/sort of living in.

the transitive property

transcribed conversation from tonight:

me: really, i just wanted an excuse to eat ketchup. i want lots of ketchup. if i could eat ketchup alone,i would.

anonymous other: see, i could eat mustard alone.

me: ew, i couldn't.

anonymous other: well, i mean not ALONE. but like...without anything else.

me: essentially, we're all alone...always. in everything we do.

anonymous other: oh...

me: so, by the transitive property of ketchup, i am always alone.

good night.

i stumbled upon buried treasure

i love the salvation army. Rarely, though, do i actually find exactly what i'm looking for there. Instead i generally find a million other somethings that i buy anyways that i didn't know i needed but must have once i see them. Which is why my room is currently a museum of castaway oddities i've collected over the past few years.

The southwest has always been a fascination of mine and lately i've been coveting some sort of really cheesy American Indian themed t-shirt, you know... complete with moons, coyotes, dreamcatchers, and the like. Well, the other day i stumbled upon someone's donated collection of them at the thrift store and ended up getting 9 of them...for a total of $9. Amazing.

This lady was on some program about flea market shoppers on public TV and i had to capture the fact that she's wearing a pretty sick t-shirt (in keeping with the theme)

boners everywhere!
